About
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and am currently living in Sendai, Japan, where I’m a missionary associate with the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. I graduated from the University of West Georgia with a BA in History and Political Science. I’ve also studied in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Rome, Italy. I have a particular interest in 20th-century warfare and Roman military history; I wrote my senior thesis on Christianity in the late Roman army.
My first novel, His Own Good Sword, is a young-adult historical fantasy that has garnered comparisons to the works of Rosemary Sutcliff and Megan Whalen Turner.
